Why the Armor of God
By now you have learned to name your struggles in the vocabulary of the age: stress, burnout, a difficult person, a bad habit you cannot seem to break. Those names are not wrong, but Scripture insists they are not the whole story. There is a real enemy with real schemes, and most of his power comes from staying invisible and persuading a busy, capable adult that the fight is merely psychological, merely circumstantial, merely you.
This is not a fearful book; it is a hopeful one. God does not warn you of the battle and then leave you exposed. He gives you the whole armor, and every piece of it is Christ Himself. Over twenty-one days you will learn to put on His truth against the lies, His righteousness against the accuser, His peace against the chaos, His faith against the flaming darts, His salvation against despair, and His Word against every temptation, and to fight, as Jesus did, from a victory already won.
