Why David
A shepherd his own family left out of the lineup. A young man who ran at a giant an army had fled. A fugitive hunted through the wilderness by a king who wanted him dead — who twice had the chance to end that king's life and refused. If anyone ever had reason to grab for power or grow bitter in the waiting, it was David.
