A Devo10 series · 84 days · ten minutes each

The waiting
room.

Faith and hope for facing a hard diagnosis.

You got the news, and everything changed. Now there are scans and waiting rooms, treatment decisions, and a fear you did not choose. This is a place to bring the shock, the fear, and the questions honestly, one day at a time, without anyone rushing you or handing you easy answers. We will pray boldly for healing and trust deeply. We will sit in the waiting. And we will hold onto a hope that does not depend on the scan results, because for those in Christ, the deepest healing is certain, whatever the outcome. The first week is free.

The shape of the first 21 days Volume 1 of 4

Four volumes, 84 days, one honest step at a time. Week one is free, all seven days. It opens one morning at a time, so it never piles up on you.

The week you got the news

The ground gave way. God did not.

A hard diagnosis is its own kind of earthquake. One appointment, one phone call, and the future you assumed is suddenly uncertain. Then comes the waiting, the not-knowing, the scans and results that never come fast enough. The fear is real, and you don't need someone telling you to just stay positive or promising that everything will be fine if you believe hard enough. You need honest company, and a God who is a very present help in trouble.

This series sits with you in the waiting room. Over four volumes we'll meet the shock and the fear head-on, without rushing past them; walk through the agony of waiting and learn to live one day at a time; enter the fight, praying boldly for healing while trusting God fully, the way Jesus prayed in the garden, and finding strength for the battle; and anchor everything in a hope that no diagnosis can take away. We will not promise you a particular outcome, because no one honestly can. But for those who belong to Jesus, death itself has been defeated, and the deepest healing is certain, here or in the life to come. God is with you in the scanner, the treatment chair, and the sleepless night. You are not waiting alone.

When you need more

A devotional walks beside you. A person sits with you in the waiting.

Devo10 can meet you each morning, but it can't sit with you through the long nights, the hard scans, or the questions that have no easy answers. When ten minutes a day isn't enough, Tend is real pastoral care from real people who will listen, pray with you, and walk this road alongside you, without rushing you or pretending your fear away. Facing a hard diagnosis does not mean facing it alone.
