Why Gideon
Gideon was hiding from his enemies when God appeared and called him a mighty man of valor. He argued back. He asked for signs, twice. He came from the weakest clan and considered himself the least in his own family — and God chose him precisely so that when the deliverance came, everyone would know it had come from God and not from human strength.
This is not a highlight reel. It is twenty-one days walking Gideon's whole story in order, through Judges 6 to 8, drawing one honest lesson from each turn: fear and calling, obedience while afraid, trusting God as the odds grow worse, and the sobering way even a hero of faith can stumble at the end.
