Why Hezekiah
Hezekiah grew up watching his own father lead a nation away from God, and he could easily have continued the family pattern. Instead, in the first month of his reign, he reopened the doors of the temple, carried out the accumulated filth, broke the idols, and led an entire people back to worship. Scripture records that no king of Judah ever trusted God as he did.
This is not a highlight reel. It is twenty-one days walking his whole reign in order—the cleansing, the great Passover, the terrifying siege, the desperate prayers, the healing, and even the pride that exposed his heart near the end. Each day draws one honest lesson from the turn of the story: cleaning house, holding fast when the enemy comes, and trusting God with your very life.
