A Devo10 series · 21 days · ten minutes each

Learning to
talk with God.

Twenty-one days learning to pray, straight from Jesus, discovering what prayer actually is, walking slowly through the prayer He taught, and growing a real prayer life, praise, confession, thanksgiving, asking, honest lament, persistence, and listening.

Each morning holds a passage to read in your own Bible, a key verse, a reflection drawn from it, a prayer, three honest questions, and a page no one else will see. The first week is free. You can start tonight.

The shape of the 21 days3 weeks

Three weeks, one honest day at a time. Week one is free, all seven days. It opens one morning at a time, so it never piles up on you.

Why learn to pray

Prayer isn't about saying it right.

Many thoughtful adults quietly give up on prayer because it feels awkward, one-sided, or hollow. They are not sure what to say, not sure anyone is listening, and after a while they simply stop. If that is you, you are not alone, and you are not doing it wrong.

The disciples felt it too, which is why they asked, 'Lord, teach us to pray.' Over twenty-one days we let Him answer that request, one honest step at a time, until prayer stops feeling like a performance and starts feeling like a conversation with a Father who loves you.

One day, ten minutes

What's inside each morning.

A passage to read in your own Bible — the next part of the story.

A verse chosen for the day, in plain ESV.

The lesson drawn from that part of the story, worth reading slowly.

A prayer for the moments you don't have your own words.

A challenge to carry it into your week.

Space to write that only you will ever see.

Start tonight
