Why Jonah
God sent one prophet to a city he despised, and Jonah bought passage in the opposite direction. What follows is a storm, a man thrown overboard, a great fish, a prayer from the bottom of the sea, and an entire city that turns to God overnight, while the prophet sits outside, sulking that God had been too merciful.
This is no tidy hero story. It is twenty-one days walking Jonah's whole book in order, drawing one honest lesson from each turn: why we run, what the bottom teaches us, how second chances actually work, and why God's mercy reaching the people we cannot stand is the entire point. You read the passage, sit with the reflection, speak to God, and carry it into your day.
