Why Joshua
A new leader, an impossible task, a flooded river in the way, fortified cities ahead, and the greatest leader Israel ever had newly buried. If anyone had reason to freeze, it was Joshua, and the very first thing God says to him, three times over, is this: be strong and courageous, do not be afraid, for I am with you. It is a word for anyone facing what feels larger than they are.
This is not a survey of ancient battles. It is twenty-one days walking Joshua's whole life in order, from chapter one to chapter twenty-four, drawing one honest lesson from each turn: fear and obedience, hidden sin and second chances, the long labor of following through, and finally the decision of whom you will serve. You read the passage, read the reflection, bring it to God, and carry it into your life.
