Why the Miracles
Jesus never performed a miracle merely to impress. John does not even call them miracles; he calls them signs, because each one points past itself to something greater. Bread multiplies and He says, 'I am the bread of life.' A blind man sees and He says, 'I am the light of the world.' The wonder is real, but it was never the whole point.
This is not a highlight reel of remarkable moments. It is twenty-one days walking through twenty-one signs in order, His power over nature, over sickness, over death itself, letting each answer the question the crowds kept asking: who is this? You read the passage, sit with the reflection, pray, and carry it into your week.
