Why the Sermon on the Mount

It is twenty-one days through Matthew 5 to 7 in order, drawing one honest word from each section — the Beatitudes, anger, purity, prayer, money, worry, judgment, the narrow gate. Jesus raises the bar past anyone's reach, and then hands us the grace to stand there. You read the passage, read the page, tell God the truth, and carry it into an ordinary week.
