Why Hezekiah
Hezekiah grew up watching his own father lead a nation away from God. He could have kept the family pattern going. Instead, in his very first month as king, he threw open the doors of the temple, carried out the filth, smashed the idols, and led an entire country back to worship. The Bible says no king of Judah ever trusted God like he did.
This isn't a highlight reel.
