A Devo10 series · Third trimester · 84 days

Almost
in my arms.

Seeking God through the final stretch to your baby.

You are so close now. Your body is heavy, sleep is hard, and every day feels like it might be the day. The waiting stretches on, the birth looms ahead, and a whole new life is about to begin. This is not a week-by-week countdown of your body; your doctor can walk you through that. This is a companion for your heart and soul in the home stretch, to help you wait, prepare, find courage for the birth, and hold onto the joy that is coming. The first week is free.

The shape of the first 21 days Volume 1 of 4

Four volumes, 84 days, one step at a time. Because women begin at different points, the days are simply devotional days, never a countdown of your pregnancy. Week one is free, and it opens one morning at a time.

For the final stretch

The days are long. The day is near.

You have made it to the home stretch, and it is its own kind of hard. You cannot get comfortable. You cannot sleep. You are tired in a way you did not know was possible, and every twinge makes you wonder, is this it? Underneath the exhaustion runs a current of fear about the birth: the pain, the unknowns, how it will all go. Maybe your plan has already changed. Maybe you are bracing for an induction or a C-section. And beyond the birth, a whole new life waits, one you are not sure you are ready for.

Over four volumes we seek God through all of it. We learn to wait on Him in the long, heavy weeks, drawing strength for the days when the weariness is real. We prepare our hearts, not just the nursery, and build our family on the Rock. We bring the fear of labor honestly to God and find the One who promises to be with us through every moment, whatever comes, so we can surrender the birth into His faithful hands. And we lift our eyes to the joy that is coming, look back with gratitude on the God who has carried us all along, and step into the new season trusting the God who goes before us. This book will never promise you a certain kind of birth or a particular outcome, because no honest person can, and God's love for you was never conditional on any of it. What it promises is His presence, all the way to the day you finally hold your little one. The first week is free.

When you need more

A devotional meets you each morning. A pastor walks with you.

Devo10 can be a warm few minutes each day, but some things in the home stretch are too heavy to carry with a book alone, the fear of the birth that will not quiet, a past loss that shadows the hope, the worry about whether you are ready. When ten minutes a day isn't enough, Tend is real pastoral care from real people who will listen, pray with you, and walk with you right up to the big day and beyond. You were never meant to carry it alone.
